A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Rolling Thunder®, Inc.'s major function is to publicize the POW-MIA issue.  To educate the public of the fact that many American prisoners of war were left behind after all past wars. To help correct the past and to protect the future veterans from being left behind should they become prisoners of war-missing in action.  We are committed to helping American veterans from all wars!

It was voted some time ago to change the meeting day and time in hopes to give more Members a chance to attend the meetings because of weekend conflicts.  The meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm.  This should take care of the problems for most of our members.  We will be splitting the meetings between the American Legion Hall in Schoolcraft (425 Clay Street) and a new place, Silver Star Apartments in Battle Creek, Michigan.  (44 Clark Road).  The Silver Star Apartments are  for our displaced veterans and they have a recreation room that we can use for our meetings.  A link to the map is below.  It is on the next street east on Armstrong Rd, where the VA Hospital is.  The Apartments may be hard to find at first.  When you turn North on Clark Rd. you have to keep going for about a mile and look for the Silver Star Sign on the left side of the road.  The apartments are back in a ways.
